Cyberpunk 2077

Updated: May 12

Reviewer Rating: 9/10

Price: NZ$ 100 (+$50 for Phantom Liberty)

Age Rating: 18+

Cyberpunk 2077 immerses players in Night City, a neon-lit metropolis defined by corporate power and advanced technology. As V, a mercenary, players shape their fate through a branching narrative influenced by choices. The open-world environment encourages exploration from towering skyscrapers to gritty streets. Combat offers diverse options including weapons, cybernetic enhancements, and hacking abilities. Customization allows for tailored experiences, while interactions with a diverse cast deepen immersion. Cyberpunk 2077 challenges players in a society blurring the line between humanity and technology, offering a thrilling adventure of danger, deception, and the pursuit of power.

Cyberpunk 2077 is a good game and is turned into an even greater game by the Phantom liberty DLC Expansion. I would highly recommend this game for these three reasons: 1. Many combat styles such as hacking and becoming a Katana wielding ninja 2. Detailed and interactive world with many hidden details 3. Many interesting side missions. Also, if people are saying that Cyberpunk is still quite buggy, don’t listen to them, the few bugs I had barely, or didn’t at all affect how I played. Cyberpunk has entertained me for many hours and must be my favourite single player story game, so although I am a bit biased, I would highly recommend this game.
